By this time you should be getting quite familiar with control structures, loops, etc. In this series of Excel files you see how to fill a fixed sized (10 x 10) grid with 100 numbers that can be the counting numbers or those of any linear sequence. Included are 19 different ways to place the sequence of numbers in the grid in a non-random manner. What you can gain from this will hopefully be an appreciation of some quite complicated looping structures and how to enter data values into the worksheet in a succinct manner.

No Word files offering any help is given, but if you can included a 20th grid that starts from the centre and fills outwards then you are definitely getting the hang of things! If you need any help then please feel free to email.

My advice is for you to download the files directly to your hard drive by right-clicking on the link and then selecting "Save Target As..." - otherwise the Excel files may not work fully in your browser window!
